The following posts will be filled up on deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) as perdetails/eligibility conditions given below :

(A). Assistant Director(Lecturer) in the pay band-3, Rs. 15600-39100/- + Rs. 5400/-(G.P.)Composite Method [Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract)]Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory administrationsor recognized research institutions or Universities or public sector undertakings or semigovernments or statutory or autonomous organizations
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department or
(ii) with two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basisin posts in the pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4800 or equivalentin the parent cadre or department or
(iii) with three years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto onregular basis in posts in the pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4600or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience
(i) Master's degree in Sociology/Psychology or Criminology from a recognized university.
(ii) Three years' teaching experience in a recognized institution in the field.
Note 1 : The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public ServiceCommission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise wellqualified.
Note 2 : The qualification (s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of UnionPublic Service Commission for reason to be recorded in writing, in case of candidatesbelonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection, theUnion Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidatesfrom these communities possessing the requisite experience is not likely to be avail-able to fill up the posts for them.
Note 1: The departmental Deputy Assistant Director (Lecturer) in pay band-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4600 with three years' of regular service in the grade shall also be considered alongwith outsiders and if such person is selected, the post shallordinarily not to exceed three years.
Note 2: The period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputa-tion in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the sameor some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarilynot to exceed three years.
Note 3 : The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Note 4 : For the purpose of appointment on deputation (including short-term contract) basis,the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to the 1st January 2006 orthe date from which the revised pay structure based on the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission has been extended shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommen-dations of the said Pay Commission except where there has been merger of more thanone pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay or pay scale,and where this benefit will extend only for the post(s) for which that grade pay or payscale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation.
(i) Trg. Allowance (inclusive Deputation Duty Allowance) @ 30% on basic pay + G.P.
(ii) SDA@ 12.5% on Basic Pay +G.P
(iii)Transport Allowance as per slab & other facilities like Rent free accommodation,Medical, Education, Welfare etc.Application along with bio-data should reach the undersigned within 60 days from thedate of circulation alongwith last 5 years confidential reports for the above mention. While forwarding applications it may kindly be confirmed whether there is any vigilancecase and disciplinary proceedings either pending or contemplated against any of theapplicants. Applications which are not accompanied by the relevant particulars or otherwise incomplete or received after the last is over, will not be entertained. The candi-dates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.

(B). One post of Assistant Director (Law) in pay in the pay band Rs. 9300-34800/- +Rs. 5400/- (G.P.) on deputation (including short-term contract).Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or rec-ognized research Institutions or Universities or public sector undertakings or semigovernments or statutory or autonomous organizations.
(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or
(ii) with two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basisin posts in the scale of pay band -2, Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4800 or equivalent in the parent cadre or departmen and
(iii) with three years' service in the grade rendered after appointment there to on regular basis in posts in the scale of pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4600or equivalent in the parent cadre or department and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience :
(i) Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized University and
(ii) three years' practical experience at the Bar.
Note 1 : The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of pro-motion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation or absorp-tion. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment bypromotion.
Note 2 : Period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation inanother excadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same orsome other organization or department shall not ordinarily exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short-term contract) shallnot be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Note 3 : For the purpose of appointment on deputation (including short-term contract) basis,the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to the 1st January, 2006 orthe date from which the revised pay structure based on the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission has been extended shall be deemed to be service ren-dered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommen-dations of the said pay Commission except where there has been merger of more thanone pre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay or pay scale,and where this benefit will extend only for the post(s) for which that grade pay or payscale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation.

SPs and Sub-Inspecters of basic trainees, including various short term courses. C) Deputy Assistant Director (Outdoor) in the pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- + Rs.4600/- (G.P.)By deputation (including short-term contract) or re-employment of Armed employed. Deputation (Including short-term contract):Officers of the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or rec-ognized research institutions or Universities or public sector undertakings or semi-gov-ernment or statutory or autonomous organizations :
(a) (i) with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regularbasis in the pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs. 4200 or equivalent inthe parent cadre or department
(b) having three years' experience in teaching outdoor subjects such as physical training,firing, horse riding etc. and conducting or organizing training schedules or programmesetc.
(c) has undergone in-service course(s) individually or collectively for six months in one ormore training programmes in a recognized training institution namely, physically train-ing drill, weapons and tactics, map reading, counter insurgency and jungle warfare,commando course, platoon weapons course, course on Un Armed Combat (UAC),area weapons course, pre-induction course on National Security Guard or police com-mando course of National Security Guard.
Deputation/Re-employment (for ex-servicemen) : The Armed Forces Personnel up to the level of Junior Commissioned Officers who aredue to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year, shallbe eligible to be appointed on deputation and thereafter on selection, they may be con-tinued on re-employment terms:Provided that in case such eligible officers have retired or have been transferred toreserve before the actual selection to the post is made, their appointment will be on re-employment basis.
Note 1 : Period of deputation (ISTC) including period of deputation in another ex-cadre postheld immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation/Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed three years. Themaximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years ason the closing date of receipt of applications.For the purpose of appointment on deputation (including short-term contract) basis, theservice rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to the 1st January 2006 or thedate from which the revised pay structure based on the recommendations of the Sixth Central Pay Commission has been extended shall be deemed to be service renderedin the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommendationsof the said Pay Commission except where there has been merger of more than onepre-revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay or pay scale, andwhere this benefit will extend only for the post(s) for which that grade pay or pay scaleis the normal replacement grade without any upgradation.
(i) Trg. Allowance (inclusive Deputation Duty Allowance) @ 30% on basic pay +G.P.
(ii) SDA@ 12.5% on Basic Pay +G.P.

(D)Stenographer Grade-I Deputation : Officers under the Central Government
(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or
(ii) with ten years regular service in the Pay Band 1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay ofRs. 2400 or equivalent.
Note 1 : The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of pro-motion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly,the deputationist shall not be eligible for by promotion.
Note 2 : Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation ordepartment of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding fifty-sixyears as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
Note 3 : For purposes of appointment on deputation/absorption basis, the service renderedon a regular basis by an officer prior to the 1st January, 2006 [the date from which therevised pay structure based on the 6th Central Pay Commission recommendations hasbeen extended], shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding gradepay or pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the Commission exceptwhere there has been merger of more than one pre-revised scale of pay into one gradewith a common grade pay or pay scale, where this benefit will extend only for thepost(s) for which that grade pay or scale is the normal replacement grade without anyupgradation.Job description/ duties attached to the postTo provide stenographic assistance to the Addl. Director/Joint Director and to performvarious official works of the said officers besides other duties assigned by the authori-ty from time to time.Selected candidate will have the option to draw their basic pay in the scale of pay oftheir parent department plus following Allowances admissible during the period of dep-utation.
(i) Deputation Duty Allowance @ 10% on basic pay + G.P. as per rule
(ii) SDA@ 12.5% on Basic Pay + G.P.
(iii) Transport Allowance as per slab.It is requested that the application with full Bio-data and service particulars along with complete confidential reports for last 5 years of the incumbent who can be spared inthe event of selection may kindly be sent to this Academy within 60 daysfrom the dateof publication.
