[A]. DIRECT RECRUITMENT TO THE 09 POSTS OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANTS (T-3) :

(a) 06 posts of Technical Assistant (T-3) in Functional group "Field/ Farm Technician" in the

2. Reservation :
For post (a) : 03 posts Un-Reserved, 01 post for SC, 01 post for ST and 01 post for Other
Backward Class.
For post (b) : 01 post Un-reserved and 01 post for Other Backward Class

3. Educational Qualifications :
For posts (a) above :
Essential Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or B.Sc. in Statistics/
Mathematical Statistics/Bio-Statistics or B.A. in Statistics or Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications : Good knowledge of Statistical concepts, analytical methods and use of Statistical software packages.
For post (b) above :
Essential Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or B.Sc. in Computer
Applications/ Bachelor of Computer Applications/Computer Science/ B. Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications : Good knowledge of Computer programming, data base, networking.
For post (c) above :
Essential Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Library Science/Library & Information Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualification :
(i) Experience of working in the relevant field in a University/Institute/Council or any other organization of repute.
(ii) Knowledge of one foreign language.
4. Age Limit : The age limit for direct recruitment for above posts is 18-30 years.
Note : (i) There will be no age limit for the employees of the Council for direct recruitment to posts in all the three categories.
(ii) There shall be age relaxation upto 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Category and upto 03 years for candidates belonging to Other Backward
Class Category, as per the rules framed and instructions issued from time to time by the
Central Government. SC/ST/OBC Candidates have to produce a caste certificate in prescribed proforma.
(iii) The crucial date for determining the age limit in each case will be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.
Age relaxation to SRF/RA working in time bound ICAR Research Projects :
Grant of benefits of age relaxation to RAs/SRFs who have been engaged on contractual basis in time bound projects in different ICAR Institutes, were issued vide letter No. 19(25)/2011-Estt.lV dated 12.12.11. One of the criteria required for consideration of these applicants should have been engaged continuously in different projects without inordinate spell of breaks and this may be suitably got re-confirmed from available records before
entertaining their applications for being admitted in the written examination etc. as per provisions in the prescribed Recruitment Rules for the positions of T-3 and T-6. (ICAR No. 19(25)/2011-Estt.lV dated 24/01/2012). (Please see Institute's Website)
5. Fee payable:
For Un-Reserved (UR)/Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates, application fee is Rs. 500/-
(Rupees Five Hundred only). Female Candidates/Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST), Person with Disability (PwD) candidates are exempted from application fee.

Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerk on the prescribed format only (as per Appendix 'A') at Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, New Delhi as per details given below :

AGE LIMIT :

do not entail a candidate to be called for written test/typing test. Where the number of applications received in response to the advertisement are large and it will not be convenient or
possible for the Institute to call all those candidates for written test/typing test, the Director, IASRI reserves the right to fix the criteria for calling the candidates on the basis of qualification, experience etc. After screening the applications, the candidates will be called for written test/ typing test.
2. Selected candidate will be under "Defined Contributory Pension Scheme" introduced by Govt. of India w.e.f. 1-1-2004 as per Central Govt. rules mutatis-mutandis as applicable to Indian Council of Agricultural Research employees and as amended from time to time.
3. Persons already in employment should route their application through proper channel.
4. No correspondence will be entertained from any candidates for selection/test/ appointment.
Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualifications.
5. Original Certificates and mark sheets should not be submitted along with the application but
should be brought as and when called for selection process.
