are invited from eligible candidates for direct recruitment for the post of Junior
Assistant under special recruitment drive for Scheduled Castes and for Visually Handicapped Persons in the Rubber Board by 27.03.2016.

Post Name : Junior Assistant
Number Of Posts : 5 Posts (2 vacancies reserved for SC and 3 vacancies for Visually
Handicapped persons).
Pay Band : Rs.5200-20200 (PB1) with Grade
Pay Rs.1900/-.
Age limit : 27 years,
(relaxable as per reservation rules).
Age limit will be reckoned as on 20.03.2016.
Qualifications:
Essential:
1) Pass in 12th class or equivalent
qualification from a recognised Board
or University.
2) A typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in
English on manual typewriter or 35
w.p.m. in computer. (35 w.p.m. and
30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500
KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of
5 key depressions for each word).
However, Visually Handicapped persons whose physical disability permanently prevents them from typing
are exempted from typing speed subject to production of certificate from
the Medical Board.
Those candidates who are blind/low
vision can use own SCRIBE at own
cost during the written examination
as per guidelines from the

Selection Procedure :
The written test will be held at
Guwahati or Agartala.
The post carries all relaxation and
concessions as applicable to Central
Government Employees of
Scheduled Castes and Persons with
Disabilities. Number of vacancies
indicated above are provisional and
the same may vary depending on the
actual requirement and reservation
rules. The Board reserves the right
not to fill up the post and to cancel
the recruitment process at any time.

date for submission of Online
Recruitment Application (ORA)
through ORA website is 23:59 Hrs
on 27.03.2016 after which the link
will be disabled. Applications
received from candidates through
any other mode would not be
accepted and summarily rejected.
Detailed instructions are provided in
the website. Candidates are requested to register online using a valid e-mail address and password.
Those who are called for written test
have to produce downloaded application form, all certificates/documents in original and one set of self-attested photocopy of the same for verification at the time of written test.
Selection will be based on written test and as per guidelines of Government of India.
Call letter for test would be mailed to the registered e-mail address or can be downloaded from the ORA website.
